Cagayan De Oro City Museum Review, Philippines
This post is a Cagayan De Oro City Museum review. The Cagayan De Oro City Museum is the only attraction I bothered to see in Cagayan De Oro, and only went because it was in walking distance.
This Cagayan De Oro City Museum review includes personal opinions and useful information including directions, pictures, costs, etc.
Address: Dolores St, in front of Gaston Park, Cagayan de Oro, Mindanao, Philippines.
Cagayan De Oro City Museum Review
I was not impressed by the Cagayan De Oro Museum, although I’m not a fan of museums in general so it already has a disadvantage.
The only reason I went was to kill time. Since it was the city museum I was expecting something a bit better, something similar to the one in Cebu City.
The Cayagan De Oro City Museum was three small exhibits with pictures and some artefacts.
There’s not much else I have to say about it.
I think the building was kind of cool… from the outside. I think it used to be a water tower.
Across the road is Gaston Park with a pretty cool water fountain. At least it looks as though it would be good but its all dried up. Maybe they are fixing it.
Quite frankly, the view from the bridge was more appealing to me than the museum, and it isn’t much of a view. A good testament to Cagayan De Oro.
Getting to Cagayan De Oro City Museum
I just walked there from the Willshire Inn.
