Lotus Hotel Patong Review

The Lotus Hotel was a bit hard for me to find (because my map was wrong) but I was really happy with it once I got there.

I arrived about 11pm. The guy was nice enough. Limited English but good enough to get things done.

The room was a really good size with a very big bed.

The location was pretty good unless you want to be right on the beach. It was a short walk to Bangla Road and pretty much in the center of Patong. Also had a small 7-11 type store right next door.

The room was really nice in comparison to what I am used to. A really big bed.

One of the nicer places I’ve stayed in a while.

Had a TV, mini fridge with two free bottles of water, complimentary tea and coffee, a kettle, soaps, towels (which were folded into swans), etc. Also had a desk for me to work at and the internet was super fast, of course that could have just been due to the time of the day which I was using it.

An amazing shower. Hot water, great pressure and a big shower-head.

The shower was great too. A nice big shower head with hot water.

Getting to Lotus Hotel Patong in Phuket

Had a double connection from Bali. The first flight was delayed two hours. Luckily, so was the second so I didn’t miss that connection. The third left on time but I still made it despite the first plane being two-and-a-half hours late. Mostly because I didn’t have check-in luggage or need to clear immigration since I was just transiting in Kuala Lumpur.

From Phuket airport I caught the shared mini-van. Cost 180THB and took maybe 45 to 60 minutes depending on how many drop offs. For some reason he did not drop me outside my hotel, but around the corner. Lucky I had GPS otherwise I probably wouldn’t have found it.

      Hi Sheila,

This is an independent website not affiliated with the hotel. I imagine you can find the hotels contact details on your booking confirmation.
