Survive Travel publications is a big part of what keeps SurviveTravel.com going. The profits from Survive Travel publications go towards keeping this and our sister website (SurvivalFitnessPlan.com) going, not to mention keeping us (Survive Travel Moderators) from starving 😉 .
In fact, the best way to support SurviveTravel.com is to purchase a Survive Travel Publication.
If you can not afford to purchase them well we still want you to have them so you can get the latest ones for free (just scroll to the bottom of the page). If you enjoy them, it helps us a lot if you leave a review on Amazon.
In the future we hope to put together a training program so others can learn how to create (and sell) their own publications but for now the two main authors of Survive Travel Publications are Aventuras De Viaje and Sam Fury.
Aventuras (pictured above) has three passions. Travel, writing and self improvement.
Combining these three things Miss Viaje spends her time traveling the world and learning about all the things she loves (yoga and tantric practices in India, massage in Thailand, mulit-cultural cooking, languages, etc.) as well as teaching herself many new skills.
She takes what she learns and shares it with the world through her books.
Aventura’s “how-to” books are perfect for those that don’t have the time and/or money to take professional classes, or would just like to learn in the privacy of their own home.
Think yoga, massage, cultural experiences, the great outdoors, etc. and you’ve got Miss Aventuras De Viaje.
Aventuras is the author of the Intimacy Series and How to Travel on a Budget: 52 Money Saving Tips for the Budget Traveler.
She is also a key contributor (posts and ideas) to SurviveTravel.com.
Meet Sam Fury
Sam has had an interest in self preservation and survival (e.g., wilderness medicine, fighting, fitness, escape and evasion, urban and wilderness survival) for as long as he can remember.
His accumulated knowledge is a result of years of formal and informal training, career related experience and general interest in survival, martial arts, the military, adventure travel and other various outdoor pursuits.
Describing himself as a ‘Survival, Minimalist, Traveler’, he has now devoted himself to traveling the world taking training courses (Jeet Kune Do and Wing Chun in China, Mixed Martial Arts in Thailand, Arniss and Escrima in the Philippines, Wilderness Medicine in the US, Parkour in Singapore, survival courses in Africa, etc.) and sharing what he learns through his training manual style books.
